Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Plancove (“Plancove”, “we”, “us”), operated by SteerScale Consulting Ltd., the mobile application that turns school messages you share into a verified, child-specific family plan. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Plancove.

1. What Plancove does

You share a school message — an email, chat message, screenshot, photo, PDF, or link — and Plancove uses artificial intelligence to identify dates, deadlines, payments, forms, preparation steps, and pickup changes, and organizes them into a plan for your family.

Extracted items are suggestions, not a substitute for the original message. AI can make mistakes, misread dates, or miss details. Nothing is added to your plan until you review and approve it, and you should always verify important dates, amounts, and instructions against the original message before relying on them.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including any co-parents or caregivers you invite to your household.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Plancove offers a free allowance and an optional paid subscription, Plancove Plus, billed in US dollars:

• Monthly — $4.99 per month, for your whole family.
• Annual — $39.99 per year (about $3.33 per month), for your whole family.

Subscriptions are purchased through your Apple App Store account and may include a free trial per household. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard policy; we are not able to issue App Store refunds directly. Prices may change; we will give notice of any change before it takes effect.

Plancove Plus is sold to you by Apple, which acts as the merchant of record: Apple takes the payment, applies local currency and taxes, and issues refunds under its own policy. We cannot issue an App Store refund ourselves. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, any statutory right of withdrawal for digital content is exercised through Apple.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Plancove to store unlawful content or to violate anyone's rights;
• attempt to access another family's data, or probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service;
• upload content you do not have the right to share;
• forward email to your Plancove address that you do not have permission to share;
• use the service to process special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric information); or
• use the app in a way that could damage or overload it.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the messages and family information you add to Plancove. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process, store, and display that content so we can provide the service to you and the members of your household. You are responsible for having the right to share the content you capture.

6. Intellectual property

Plancove, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our name, logo, or other brand features except as needed to use the app.

7. Disclaimers

Plancove is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Because plans are generated with the help of AI from content you provide, we do not warrant that every extracted detail is accurate or complete. Plancove is a tool to help you stay organized; it is not a substitute for your own judgment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed events, deadlines, or payments arising from extraction errors or your reliance on the plan. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, you keep every right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law, and nothing here overrides it.

9. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will announce it in the app or by email. Continuing to use Plancove after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using Plancove and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm other users or us.

11. Operator and governing law

Plancove is operated by SteerScale Consulting Ltd., a company registered in Hungary. You can reach us at hello@plancove.app.

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of Plancove, are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
