What's new
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Plancove is in active development — here is everything we have shipped to families, newest first.
A calmer inbox
Version 1.0 · Build 8 · 29 July 2026
- What we found now sits above the original message, so you see the plan before the wall of text.
- Today names every child an item belongs to, not just the first one.
- Messages show when they arrived, in the list and when you open one.
- A forwarded email with nothing to plan says so, and can be cleared in a tap.
- An invite works even if you sign up with a different email address than the one it was sent to.
- Opening the app after a spell offline retries quietly instead of announcing it can't reach the server.
One family, one plan
Version 1.0 · Build 5 · 27 July 2026
- Two parents who sign up separately land in the same family instead of two half-empty ones.
- Everyone in the family sees who else has joined, by name.
Reminders that land on time
Version 1.0 · Build 4 · 26 July 2026
- Reminders arrive when they should — no more notifications at midnight.
- Dates in forwarded school emails are read in your timezone, so nothing lands a day early.
- Plans keep the language of the message you shared.
- Tapping a reminder opens the item it is about.
- Moved the service closer to where families use it, so syncing feels quicker.
Plans that match how families actually work
Version 1.0 · Build 3 · 24 July 2026
- One item can belong to several children at once — no more duplicating the same trip three times.
- Today shows every child's day together by default, and you can still narrow it to one.
- Hand an item to yourself or your co-parent so it is clear who is doing it.
- A flaky connection retries on its own and explains itself in plain language.
- Removing a child now happens instantly instead of hanging on the network.
First TestFlight build
Version 1.0 · Build 2 · 23 July 2026
- Forward a school email to your private Plancove address and it turns into a plan.
- Invite your co-parent from the app; the link opens straight into your family.
- Contact support from inside the app when something looks wrong.
- Clear, up-front explanation of what is sent to the AI and what is kept.
